1. Definitions
- "Service" means the Tube2Web platform, including the website, applications, and all related features.
- "We," "Us," "Our" refers to WavelyLabs, the operator of Tube2Web.
- "User," "You" refers to any individual or entity using the Service.
- "User Content" means site configurations, collection settings, and content selections you create within the Service.
- "YouTube Data" means public video metadata, channel information, and related data fetched via the YouTube API.
- "AI Output" means summaries, articles, chat responses, and other content generated by AI providers through the Service.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
3. Service Description
Tube2Web converts YouTube channels and videos into AI-enhanced websites. The Service provides AI-generated summaries, articles, transcripts, and conversational chat based on video content. Tube2Web does not host, download, or alter video files. Videos are displayed exclusively via the official YouTube embedded player.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. You must be at least 18 years old to purchase paid features or enter into a billing agreement.
5. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate registration information and to notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
6. User Content & Ownership
You retain ownership of your User Content (site configurations, collection settings, and content selections). AI Output generated through the Service is provided to you for your use, but we do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any purpose. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI Output before publishing or relying on it.
7. YouTube API Compliance
The Service uses YouTube API Services. By using Tube2Web, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
Tube2Web's use of information received from YouTube API Services adheres to the YouTube API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use Requirements. All YouTube content (videos, titles, descriptions, thumbnails) remains the property of the respective creators and/or YouTube.
Tube2Web does not modify the YouTube embedded player, does not interfere with YouTube advertisements, and does not download or redistribute video files. The Service adds independent value beyond YouTube through AI-powered summaries, articles, transcripts, and conversational chat.
You can revoke Tube2Web's access to your YouTube data at any time via the Google security settings page. Upon revocation, YouTube API data associated with your account will be deleted.
8. AI-Generated Content
The Service uses third-party AI providers (including Google Gemini and OpenAI) to generate summaries, articles, and chat responses. AI Output is provided for informational purposes only and is not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, current, or free of errors. AI Output does not constitute professional, legal, medical, or financial advice.
You are responsible for reviewing all AI Output before publishing or sharing it. We are not liable for any claims arising from your use of AI Output.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Engage in piracy, copyright infringement, or circumvention of content protections
- Violate the YouTube Terms of Service or any applicable third-party terms
- Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or overload the Service
- Publish illegal, harmful, misleading, or defamatory content
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure
- Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications
10. Intellectual Property
The Tube2Web software, design, branding, and features are the property of WavelyLabs. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.
11. Subscription & Payments
A free tier of the Service is available with limited features. Paid features, when available, are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the Merchant of Record. This means the purchase transaction is between you and Lemon Squeezy. Sales tax and VAT are handled by Lemon Squeezy.
Pricing may change with at least 30 days' notice. Refunds are subject to Lemon Squeezy's refund policy. Lemon Squeezy may issue refunds within 60 days of purchase and handles chargeback disputes.
12. Advertising
Tube2Web may display advertisements around the site interface. YouTube advertisements within the embedded video player remain untouched and are controlled entirely by YouTube.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms, applicable laws, or the YouTube Terms of Service. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. Upon account deletion, your personal data and User Content will be removed within 30 days. Encrypted backups may persist for up to 90 days. See our Privacy Policy for full retention details.
14. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We are not responsible for changes to YouTube API Services, third-party AI providers, or other services that may affect the availability or functionality of the Service.
15. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WAVELYLABS' TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100) IF YOU ARE ON A FREE PLAN.
IN NO EVENT SHALL WAVELYLABS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Tel Aviv, Israel.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you should stop using the Service.
